7th & 8th March 2026 (2 DAY ATTEND)
9am-5pm CET
Jo Gibson MSc MCSP
Arena Fysio, Helsingborg Sweden
This Two day course offers a simple structured approach to the assessment of patients with shoulder pain that immediately informs where to start with your treatment. It considers factors affecting outcome and importantly, how to influence these. It is intended to be fun and interactive, to acknowledge the challenges of evidence-based practice and to equip you with clinical skills you can apply the next day in clinic. This will be an action-packed day combining presentations, workshops, practical demonstrations and problem solving.
- Where are we now? How well are we doing & what really impacts outcomes ( and what does this mean to treatment)?
- The rotator cuff and scapula (it’s not all about them!)– using what we know to inform assessment and management.
- Integrating the kinetic chain for the gain – making rehabilitation easier for your patients and you.
- Is it torn and does it matter- deciding who needs to see a surgeon and when rehab is the solution
- The stiff shoulder - can we do better than supervised neglect? Causes, conundrums and opportunities?
- The irritable shoulder – where to start when your patient doesn’t want to move ?
- Communication is your superpower- getting it right from the start
- Is it strong enough? Getting patients fit for function
- What happens when things don't go as planned ? A simple approach to problem solving
