Prof. Ian Horsley
The Sporting Shoulder is a highly practical and interactive course which deals with the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of the shoulder in sport.
For therapist supporting athletes (at all levels of sport)it will provide suggestions on how to manage shoulder injuries (including interventions to assist in reducing the incidence of primary injury, designing appropriate rehabilitation regimes, and supporting shared return to play decisions).
There will be an emphasis on finding the driver for non-traumatic shoulder pain, rather than on diagnostic labelling, and understanding concepts that can be used to formulate bespoke interventions for athletes. There will be no recipes.
Due to the practical nature of the course, attendees are expected to dress according, so that the upper quadrants can easily be observed.
Member discounts apply.
Members retain access to the course supporting material for the life of their membership.
